About the Judge
Mrs Alison Kenny (Millingford)

My love of the Scottish Terrier began when I was given a brindle puppy dog for Christmas. His pet name was Moffat and he was registered as Millingford Midnight. This puppy was by Ch Noonsun Pride and with encouragement from Nellie Holland and Eve Marshall I allowed him to be shown at NESTC Open Show where he won two firsts and a second. The showing bug bit me.

My mum would not allow me to have another dog and so when I got married, I purchase Marwood Sweet Surrender (Sophie) from Lorraine Brannan. She was a successful show dog and won 1 CC and an RCC. Unfortunately, my breeding programme with her was curtailed and I decided to leave showing for a while to bring up my two children, Ashley and Ross.

In 1994, I purchased a bitch, Gillson Debutante at Millingford (Isla) from Alan Gill. She is behind all my current stock. I have since bred my first chapion, Millingford Ruby Slippers and her offspring have done well so far. Her daugher, Millingford Bohemian has an RCC and she has a son in Denmark, Millingford Art Deco who is a Swedish champion.

My judging career started in 1984 at Honley Open Show and I have since given CCs at SKC, Darlingto and Windsor. I am looking forward to judging my first breed club chapmpionship show at STBEA and feel very honoured to have been asked.
